Ok, one more thought for tonight. So I'm watching all of these pundits running for office. Now I'm not a particularly smart or political person, but I am so tired of these talking heads. They're trying to sell us on "change" and "hope" and a better America.
While that may sound great, especially to those of us struggling in these troubling times, why do we have to buy off on keywords? Why is there no substance behind these words? What does this mean......and why do they have to spend millions of dollars to sell us an idea. This is America, ideas and dreams are free.
Why can't they lead by example, not by the words that you can't possibly avoid. Why don't they (yes, I lump all of them together) stop talking and start quietly leading? I don't know about anyone else but I'd rather follow someone that's actually leading somewhere. Why these $5k a plate fundraisers where the money gets put back into this media bombardment and start helping those that so desperately need economic change.
Ok, give this girl a laptop and a wireless connection and she's opinionated. Note to self: edit, edit, edit.
