Got a couple of little things to note.
One: Matthew lost his first tooth. It's been loose for a long time. For some reason it really grosses me out to watch him wiggle it when it was still attached. I mean really grossed out, like high-pitched ringing in my ears and waves of nausea. He figured that out (guess I gagged one too many times) and Matt parlayed that into a gross-fest. Haven't been able to look in the rear-view mirror in weeks. The going price for a tooth now, a whopping $2 (inflationary times I guess).
Another note: Matt has his kindergarten assessment today. He didn't want to go, dragged his feet and wrapped himself around Grammy who was kind enough to step in and take him (year-end close @ work is NOT going so well). Enter Mrs. Jones, who I am convinced is an angel. Not only did he do very well on his testing, he LOVES her too. Last step to getting accepted is an interview with the principal.......ack!
Meghan's been a little under the weather - last molar coming in and had a spell with the pre-school crud a la Matt. Had fun playing with her at swim today - she is in love with a little Lhasa Upso. I'm thinking Meghan needs one :-).......but with 2 big dogs, 4 fish, and the guinea pig we've got enough for now.
Meghan's got some fun words: mama, dada, baby, uh-oh, YAY!!! (much enthusiasm), yeah, no, meow, woof, pop, and bubble. Airplane also sounds like bubble (not sure why), and butterfly sounds like bubble too.
