Things have been so crazy around here lately!

First, the company that Manny works for has been sold to a company in Mesa, Arizona. They are moving the operations there, so the good news is that we don't have to move to Mesa. The relatively OK news is that he is going to have to commute to AZ three days a week. The bad news is that they are "trying" this arrangement for 3 weeks and then we're not so sure that he's going to have a job. He's really busy looking for a new one and there are a couple of prospects on the horizon.
We've been trying to squeeze in as much family fun as possible in the last couple of weeks because we know how much the kids will miss Daddy. This week they had an exhibit of 3 World War II bombers (a B-17, B-24, and B-25)at the airport by my office and Matt really got a kick out of them. He also wants to "drive people all over the country" in those planes.
Matt has a new BFF named Tanner who lives 3 doors down and I think the two of them would go around the world don their scooters if they could. Matt's sitting here now watching for Tanner's family to come home so that they can go out and play.
We took advantage of the beautiful weather last weekend for Meghan's first official trip to the park. She fell asleep on the swings (figures!), tried to climb up the slide, loved the water turtles until her hat got wet, and HATED the sand. The kid just doesn't like to touch anything dirty, squishy (including food!), or grainy. Photos to memorialize this momentous occasion:
I'm also extremely proud of myself for actually cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms, the windows (inside and out), and taking the screens off and scrubbing them too today! Not sure why that one happened but hey, it's really nice to get all that done in the space of nap time! Boy it's nice that Meghan is now sleeping.
Love to everyone!!!
