We celebrated Manny's 37th birthday this week.......we attempted to at least! Work has been really crazy for me (working crazy hours), and I think all 4 of us have been trading germs....at this moment Meghan is the only one of us that is 100% healthy.
We celebrated with pizza and a really exciting cake (take that lightly!) that Matt & I made.....we are planning on "officially" celebrating on the 16th. The city of San Diego does this really fun week every January called Restaurant Week where most of the nicer establishments do a fun sampling menu at really great prices. So Manny & I will be dining ALONE at the Chart House in Cardiff on appetizers (scallops & prawns), prime rib (for Manny), mahi mahi (for me), and 2 scrumptious desserts on the water.......I can't wait! All that for $30 a person...gotta love it.

Happy Happy birthday Manny - thanks so much for the last 10 years!!! We're still having fun, even when times are tough. We always seem to find things to laugh about.......and Manny is always steadfast no matter what. Oh, and he can plan things 10 years in advance and they usually happen. He never gives up - ever! It's funny how great depth grows in such a short time. I look at these pictures and realize how I love these three monkeys more than anything in this life. I guess we're blessed in bad times as well as good because there is always joy when you get out of the shadows that life inevitably brings.......aren't we blessed to know that God has a purpose for each one of us? I'm so glad that you can see mine right up there in these pictures!!!
