Another occupational paint hazard: don't work too hard to paint too much in your stressed out stupor.
Not sure if it was the extra work in painting everything that stands still, or the stress factor that induced it, but I have managed to pick up a nasty case of pneumonia. Yes, that's right, complete with burning lungs every time you try to breathe.
Thought I had a cold but after 4 days of fever, chills, cold sweats and coughing like a lung was trying to escape, I finally went to urgent care on what i thought was my way in to work. Good news: I have the Z-pack on board and should be OK to go back to work tomorrow.
Oh lucky me........and tomorrow the carpets are getting cleaned and I was supposed to finish painting the windowsills that Matt destroyed with his Matchbox cars (he thought they were racetracks and those cars really "dug" in if you get my drift).
The good side: my poor dear sweet hubby tried to help by cleaning the kitchen floor. The bad news: he didn't dilute the PineSol (that I don't normally use LOL because Swiffers are just too easy).......and while the floor is clean, my lungs are REALLY burning now. Hey, he gets major points for trying and not a complaint will come from me.
Think I'll skip those things tonight LOL...........so there's another painting rule :-)
