Geotrax & Megzilla

I thought today was going to be cooler, so in an effort to keep both kids happy I built Geotrax (Matt's ever-expanding train set) outside on the patio. Matt was very excited about this idea because we don't have very much space in the house for a "gigantic" track. We used almost half of the patio with all those tracks. Meghan loved the idea because it was outdoors.

Meghan had fun chasing the trains, picking them up, and sitting on the tracks (e.g. destroying them). I tried to make it "fun" for Matt by pretending that she was Godzilla a.k.a. Megzilla (that nickname will DEFINITELY stick). Luckily that worked. Matt played out there for at least 6 hours with at least some combination (if not all) of the family out there.....it was a really nice afternoon, I got to work on homework for a bit, Meghan got a half-way decent nap, and Manny got to watch the 9ers.

The last pictures are of Meghan using Matthew as a chair. They both thought it was pretty funny.

I can't believe how big Matt is now - he's such a sweetheart. He had a great weekend after a tough week. He's so full of life and has an amazing imagination. Can't believe he's going to be 6 already!

You are amazing! You are such a good mom! I love reading your blog--you are always honest and upbeat. How is school going? How is Meghan doing at preschool?
